I offer personalised English and Afrikaans lessons tailored for second-language speakers. Whether you're a high school student aiming to improve your Afrikaans marks, or an adult looking to enhance your English communication skills, I can help you reach your goals.
Afrikaans is often described as an “easy” language, but for many English speakers, this simply isn’t true.
A lot of teachers and textbooks rely on the use of vocabulary lists and endless practice without clear explanations of the rules of Afrikaans, expecting students to somehow figure out how to speak and understand Afrikaans on their own. But that’s the big problem.
Most resources teach you what Afrikaans is, not how it actually works.
Our lessons take a different approach by breaking down the rules of Afrikaans into clear, easy-to-understand explanations that help students build confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding the language.
So, if you’re an English speaker trying to learn Afrikaans but can’t quite wrap your head around its intricacies, this course is for you.
I offer personalised Afrikaans lessons tailored for second-language speakers. Whether you're a high school student aiming to improve your Afrikaans marks, or an adult looking to enhance your English communication skills, I can help you reach your goals.

Many of my students had a decent vocabulary, but they didn’t know the rules of the language that would give them the tools to speak with confidence.
So, I sat down and began to unravel the rules of Afrikaans in a series of structured tutorials. These lessons proved so effective with my students that I decided to make them available for free to anyone who might benefit from them.
