I have been giving private English and Afrikaans lessons since February 2025.
I have been managing my own language teaching blog since May 2024: Owl's Bilingual Academy . I regularly publish grammar tutorials and other teaching resources on my blog.
I am a fully qualified language teacher. I studied at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where I majored in English, Afrikaans, and Classical Studies, and completed an Honours degree in Library and Information Science.
I also hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate obtained from I-to-I.
